Food Pantry

Holy Rosary operates a Food Ministry for the benefit our our neighbors in Gate City and throughout the Woodlawn and East Lake zip codes that is without parallel in the broader metro area.

We have needed to more strictly enforce our distribution guidelines and find more volunteers and locations willing to donate food to us. We are continuing to supply well over 1,000 boxes a month of food to families in need including: fresh fruit & vegetables, dairy products, bakery goods, shelf stable vegetables & meat and more.

Demand continues as supply costs grow. Our Pantry performs entirely on the efforts of volunteers. Not just from our parish but simply of “people of good will.”

We need your help for funding, identifying sources of food to distribute, and volunteers to support the Pantry’s operations and to make regularly scheduled runs to collect food from area grocery stores and deliver it to Holy Rosary.
